Don’t hesitate to contact us for personal advice and check out the conditions in which the Frangipani will thrive, below…
☀️ Light
Loves full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. While the frangipani can tolerate partial shade, optimal flowering and overall health will need ample sun exposure.
💧 Water
Maintain a moderate watering routine and deep water when top inch of soil is dry. Reduce watering as the plant enters a period of dormancy in winter.
🌱 Soil
A well-draining, sandy, loamy mix enriched with organic matter is ideal. For container growing use a potting mix with perlite or sand and good drainage to ensure plant's health.
🌡️ Climate
Thrives in warm temperatures between 18°C to 27°C and can tolerate some cooler temperatures but protection from frost is essential. In cooler climates, consider growing in containers that can be brought indoors during colder seasons.
💪🏻 Feed
Apply a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during spring and summer, following the recommended dosage on the fertilizer package. Reduce or cease feeding in fall and winter when the plant is less active.
🌸 Flowers
Grows large, leathery leaves which are typically clustered at the tips of thick, architectural, succulent branches and when in bloom produces flowers in a range of colors, including white, yellow, pink, red, and various combinations of these hues.
